Welcome to Pearme.ai ("we," "our," or "us"). These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of our AI-powered fashion stylist platform (the "Service"), including our website, mobile app, and all features, content, and functionality provided.

By accessing or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use the Service.

Pearme provides fashion, try-ons, and style recommendations through an AI-powered virtual stylist. The Service may include:

Our Service does not guarantee fit, sizing accuracy, or product availability. All recommendations are generated based on algorithmic outputs and user input.

3. Your Device

Pearme does not require an account. The app remembers your preferences and your quiz answers on your device, using an anonymous device ID. The app does not show you that ID. If you tap “Delete my account and all data” on the My Stuff tab, your phone opens an email to us with that ID already written in it, where it is labelled “My Pearme code”, so we can find the right device. Nothing is sent until you send that email yourself.

4. User Content

You may input text, images, or other content ("User Content") into the Service. You retain ownership of your User Content, but grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, process, and analyze it to provide and improve the Service.

5. AI Output Disclaimer

The fashion recommendations provided are generated by artificial intelligence and may not always be accurate, appropriate, or suited to your preferences. Use of the AI outputs is at your own discretion and risk.

6. Third-Party Links

The Service may link to products or websites operated by third parties. We are not responsible for their content, availability, or practices. Purchases made via third-party sites are subject to those sites' terms and policies.

All content, features, and functionality of the Service (excluding User Content) are owned by us or our licensors and are protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at our discretion, including if you violate these Terms. You may also stop using the Service at any time.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we disclaim all warranties and shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service.

12. AI-Generated Advice

To produce and improve a read, your photo is sent securely to our AI partners (Anthropic, Google and OpenAI) and used only for that purpose. Pearme reviews it overnight to make your reads more accurate and more personal, then deletes it within 24 hours; a “whole look” photo stays 14 days. The read is generated by AI, it can be wrong, and it is an opinion about your outfit, not advice. “See it on you” pictures are your photo edited by Google’s AI to show a suggestion; they can be imperfect, and they are not stored.

LÉA is not a crisis or emergency service. If you are in danger, call 911. In the US you can call or text 988 any time.

Privacy Policy

At Pearme.ai ("we," "us," or "our"), we take your privacy seriously. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your personal information when you use our AI fashion stylist service ("Service") through our website, app, or other digital tools.

1. Information We Collect

A. Information You Provide:

Info you choose to give: a first name or nickname, which is kept on your device and sent with your requests so LÉA can use it in her replies, and your birth month and year, which stay on your device, where they confirm you are 18 or older and appear on the My Stuff tab.

Style info: your quiz picks — which look you chose for each question, or that you passed — your style preferences and the answers you give in the app. Your picks stay on your device, so the app still knows them the next time you open it and can show you what LÉA has noticed on the My Stuff tab. They are also sent to our AI partner — as style totals (for example “casual 3, sporty 2”) with each read, and as the occasion and the style you chose per question when LÉA writes your learnings — so her opinion and the moves she suggests fit how you actually dress. The quiz photos themselves are never sent. Your picks are also recorded with your anonymous device ID as usage data (Section 1.B). Outfit photos are kept only until our overnight quality check, then deleted within 24 hours; a “whole look” photo stays 14 days (Section 4).

What LÉA remembers: LÉA remembers what you have shown her, in words — the pieces, colours and style of the outfits you read, the moves you took, and the corrections you gave — and uses it to make your reads more personal. We keep this with your device ID for up to 13 months after your last visit and delete it when you start over or forget it on the My Stuff tab. Photos are kept only as described under “Your photos and the AI”.

Messages and answers: your chats with LÉA (what you write and what she replies) are sent to our AI partner to answer you. Pearme saves them with your device ID for about 90 days, where the Pearme team can read them to review and improve LÉA, then deletes them automatically (backup copies are kept for up to 14 more days). Email addresses and phone numbers typed into a chat are masked before saving. Answers you type into the app's own questions (for example, your own occasion or how you want to feel) are stored with your usage data so we can improve LÉA's suggestions.

We use your style inputs and preferences to generate recommendations via artificial intelligence. This may involve analysis by machine learning models. We review saved chats and overall usage to improve LÉA's instructions and features. Pearme does not use your photos or chats to train AI models.

Your photos and the AI

Your photo is sent securely to our AI partners (Anthropic and Google) to produce and improve your read. Pearme keeps that photo with your device ID for up to 24 hours so our overnight quality check can compare LÉA’s read with the outfit, then deletes it (automatically within 48 hours at the latest). A photo you take with “Show me the whole look” is kept for 14 days, together with the read photo it follows, so our stylists can check whether LÉA’s move worked, then both are deleted. Only the Pearme team can see these photos; they are never used to train AI models and never appear in analytics. The connection to our AI providers is encrypted, the photo is used only for that purpose, and Pearme does not log it. When LÉA suggests a change, or you tap “wear it?”, Google’s AI may edit your photo to show you that change on you. The edited picture comes back only to your phone, and Pearme does not store or log it either. For reads we keep only counts: the number of reads, when they happened, the type of any error, and totals of how often our AI providers agree. Your chats with LÉA are kept for about 90 days, and answers you type into the app's own questions are kept with your usage data, as described above. The read is generated by an AI model. It is style advice, not professional advice, and it can be wrong. You decide what to wear.

To keep the app safe from automated abuse, Pearme uses Google reCAPTCHA to check that requests come from the real app. Its use is subject to Google's Privacy Policy and Terms of Service.

We keep personal information only as long as needed to provide the Service or meet legal obligations, and delete it automatically on this schedule:

6. Cookies & Tracking

The Pearme app records usage events, such as which screens you open and which choices you make, with an anonymous device ID so we can run and improve the Service. It never records your photos and uses no advertising trackers. The app also uses PostHog to record how it is used, screen by screen, so we can fix what confuses people; your photos, anything you type and your name are blanked out of those recordings before they leave your device, and the recordings are kept for up to 90 days. The app keeps your preferences and your quiz answers in your browser's storage on your device and uses a first-party cookie that holds your anonymous device ID.
